Our Gala relies on an incredible team of volunteers who help bring the show to life. Whether you enjoy organizing, building, sewing, or simply being part of the excitement, there’s a role for everyone. No experience is required. Just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.
Below are the behind‑the‑scenes roles available each year:
Set & Prop Crew
Help create the visual world of the Gala.
Building Props — assembling and constructing set pieces
Painting Props and Sets — adding colour, detail, and finishing touches
Setting Up the Set — helping place props and scenery on the ice
Taking Down the Set — assisting with teardown and cleanup
Assisting Behind the Set During the Show — helping move props and support transitions
Backstage & Dressing Room Support
Keep skaters organized, calm, and ready to shine.
Dressing Room Assistants (Females Only) — helping skaters with costumes and organization
Backstage Helpers — guiding groups, keeping skaters on schedule, supporting coaches
Security Support — assisting with controlled access during March Break practices, Dress Rehearsal, and show day
Costume & Sewing Team
Support the costume department with fittings and finishing touches.
Sewing Costumes — small repairs, adjustments, or embellishments
Costume Organization — helping sort, label, and prepare costumes for rehearsals and show day
Front‑of‑House & Event Support
Help create a smooth and welcoming experience for families and spectators.
Ticket Sales — assisting with selling tickets for the show
Ushers — greeting guests and helping them find their seats
50/50 Committee — selling tickets on show day
Publicity, Sponsorship & Community Outreach
Help spread the word and support the Gala’s fundraising efforts.
Silent Auction Committee — organizing items, displays, and bidding
Sponsorship Committee — assisting with sponsor outreach and coordination
Publicity Support — helping promote the show through community channels
Poster Distribution — delivering posters to local businesses and community spaces
