On behalf of the Preston Figure Skating Club

On behalf of the Preston Figure Skating Club, The Board of Directors would like to welcome all the new and returning skaters to the 2010 – 2011 season.  The Preston Program starts in October and runs until the end of March.  Throughout the season, we invite all of the Preston Members to participate in many fun and exciting activities.  

During the winter season, we use the following facilities:

Preston Auditorium, Karl Homuth Arena and the Hespeler Arena, rink # 1.

If at any time you have a question, please do not hesitate to contact us @ 519-653-2252.  The office hours do not start until September but we are checking messages on a regular basis.

Message From The Board

The Preston FSC Board of Directors would like to thank all of the skaters, families, volunteers and community sponsors that assisted with making the 2010 - 50th Ice Show Amazing!  We are very excited to announce that many former Preston Team skaters returned for such a special occasion.  We would also like to thank many of the former Coaches, Board of Directors, City Workers and Volunteers that took the time to be part of the weekend festivities.  We hope that you enjoyed yourselves!  A special thanks goes out to the coaches, ice show committee and alumni committee for making sure everyone had a wonderful time.  We are sure that many memories were made once again! 

Volunteers of The Year Awarded

At the end of each season, the Preston FSC nominates three individuals who stand out as amazing volunteers within the Preston FSC skating community.  Please note, these nominations are based on volunteer work and not based on skating. 
The recipients of the 2009-2010 are:    Alicia Hedges, George Cowan,  Mary Ellen Prange.  Congratulations!

Things We Did This Year

This year, the skaters and their families participated in many activities!   From a Halloween Dress Up Day, to being part of the Cambridge Santa Claus  Parade to having Santa visit us at Preston Auditorium to celebrating 50 years of Ice Shows!!!We are looking for all former skaters, coaches, parents & volunteers to come out and make this 50th Anniversary show one to remember!
