On-Line Spring Skating Registration

Now Available!!!

This year we are offering the following programs:

    • Buddies on Blades (3 and 4 yr old)
    • Learn to Skate Program (5 yrs and older)
    • CanSkate Program (5 yrs and older)
    • CanFigureSkate/Advance Rec Program
    • Power (Learn to Skate Hockey Skills) Program
    • Adult Program

To register for the 2012 spring session, simply follow these steps:

  1. Review the “On-line Policy and Procedure Document”.
  2. Fill Out the Spring 2012 Application Form {offered in an “excel” format or “PDF” format}
  3. Return the form to us by one of the following methods:
    1. Send it to us by email @ championstc@bellnet.ca To email it, we will require a credit card payment.
    2. Mail it to us:  Champion Training Centre, 1-110 Turnbull Court, Cambridge, ON N1T 1K6.

Description of Programs

"Buddies on Blades" Program:

This 30 minute program is an introduction to the basic fundaments of skating designed for 3 and 4 year olds. Skaters receive incentives!!!!

Maximum 12 skaters per group

CanSkate, Learn to Skate Program:

This program is for skaters to learn the fundamentals of skating. Upon completion of each level, badges are received. Ages: 5 & up. Maximum 12 skaters per group

CanFigureSkate, Advance Recreational Program:

This program teaches 5 different skills: jump, spin, dance, stroking and skating skills. Skaters will develop the quality of control, balance, posture and speed.

Adults Skating Program:

This program is available to any adults that wish to either learn to skate or improve their skating skills. All levels are on the ice at one time. When instruction is given, three different levels of difficulty are explained.

Hockey Learn to Skate Skills Program:

This program is designed to train the basic skating skills necessary in Hockey and Ringette. This method is the introduction of Balance exercises designed to train the athlete to skate equally well on both fee and in both directions. The repetition of these exercises will develop the balance and co-ordination required to become a better skater.

Private Lessons:

Private lessons take place during the child's on ice session. A special introductory offer! If this is your first time to receive private lessons, the price is $8.50 per 10 minute lesson on a weekly basis for the season. If interested, please check the box on the application form. Your child will receive a lesson each week.

 

NOTE: All skaters will be evaluated and put in their appropriate skating level. This could cause a change to your skaters package.
